What We Believe

Calvary Baptist Church is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention, and the Neches River Baptist Association.

We believe in the inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture. The Baptist Faith and Message (2000) expresses what we believe the Bible teaches.

Another historic Baptist confession of faith is the Abstract of Principles. It was adopted in 1858 by the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and remains that schools doctrinal statement.
